Legislative Committee would like to present the following Proposal
Due to the pending increase of the MHSCA insurance (currently
$5.00) and our $5.00 MHSCA membership fee, that we as an association
pay for our current members. We request the following changes to the:
“Team Multiple Membership Options” listed in our Policy and Procedures
Manual on Page 9, Section 3 Membership Policy and Fees. The reference
is listed in our By-Laws under Article III Dues
Currently listed: “The Association will give the option to programs that have multiple
coaches that wish to join our association. These memberships will be
expanded to Varsity and Junior Varsity coaches. The cost will remain
$40.00 for 1 and 2 Program members. If, 3 or more program coaches are
interested in becoming members, the association will accept a flat fee of
$100.00.”
Proposed: “The association will give the option to programs that have multiple
coaches that wish to join our association. These memberships will be
expanded to all Varsity and Junior Varsity coaches. The cost will remain
$40.00 each for 1 Varsity girls and 1 Varsity boys coach. If, 3 or more
program coaches are interested in becoming members, the association will
accept a cost per additional program member of $15.00.”
The Legislative committee would recommend approval of the Proposal
