Membership Reminder
COACHES
AN IMPORTANT REMINDER To receive all of the advantages of membership you and your program needs. Membership applications must be sent into Jim (Send check and entire form (one per coach) to: MHSIBCA, 23654 Beverly St. Clair Shores 48082due to the confusion with PayPal, we are only accepting snail mail payment applications) and must be post marked no later than December 15th. With membership sent in, by the December15th date you are eligible for the following: Membership cost of $40.
Program discount, if a program has 2 head coaches 1 boy and 1 girls’ team those coaches each pay the regular $40 fee. But any other members of the program (JV coaches, scorekeepers AD’s) the fee is $15 for an unlimited number. If your program only has 1 team (no boys or girls), your program is still eligible for the discount.Why Pay for MHSIBCA Membership? ♦All members of the program are automatically enrolled in the 1-million-dollar liability insurance offered by the Michigan High School Athletic Association ♦Eligible for all post season awards for both coaches and athletes (coach of the year and All-State are 2 examples) ♦Attend our Annual General Meeting and clinics at no charge If you submit after December 15th through February 15th: Membership cost is $50, no program discount or the MHSCA insurance is offered All the other advantages are offered If membership is post marked after the 10th of February, your membership will be applied to the following season. IF YOU ARE A 1st year coach the membership fee is $40 throughout the joining period, but the insurance and program discount will not apply after the December 15th cutoff.
